Background

Sweet Treats by Rhi, led by the cupcake queen Rhi herself, is a brand synonymous with delightful indulgence. As the brand sought to elevate its packaging experience and overall brand visibility, we aimed for designs that would be both fun and in alignments with their brand ethos.

Objective

To design new, engaging packaging and branding materials for Sweet Treats by Rhi that would encapsulate the brand's playful spirit and commitment to quality. The primary focus was on box designs for their cupcakes, coffee cup designs, and a distinctive van wrap that would serve as a mobile advertisement for the brand.

Implementation

  1. Custom Box Design: A tailor-made box design was crafted, ensuring it was adaptable across various dimensions to cater to the different box dimensions.
  2. Coffee Cup Designs: Keeping the brand's playful essence in mind, we fashioned coffee cup designs that were both fun and memorable.
  3. Custom Icon Design: To further enhance the brand's visual identity, custom icons were designed. These icons, tailored specifically for Sweet Treats, added a unique touch to the brand's packaging and promotional materials, making them instantly recognisable.
  4. Tagline Integration: While Rhi's original tagline, 'Life's short, treat yourself' resonated with the brand's philosophy I introduced an additional catchy phrase, 'You want a piece of me?' This new tagline, printed on the boxes added a touch of whimsy and charm, further enhancing the brands appeal.
  5. Van Wrap Design: To increase brand visibility on the go, a vibrant and eye-catching van wrap was designed. This mobile branding solution ensured that Sweet Treats by Rhi was recognisable and memorable, even on the move. The wrap incorporated the brand's colours, logo and taglines, turning the van into a billboard for the brand.

Project Outcomes

The revamped packaging and branding materials for Sweet Treats by Rhi were met with enthusiasm. From fresh designs and playful taglines to the distinctive van wrap, every element reinforced the brand's identity. The project showcased the power of cohesive design in elevating a brand's presence and resonating with its audience, both in stationary settings and on the road.
