Introducing Football Aid Australia Foundation, based in Newcastle, which assists local Australian charities by hosting fundraising events across the country. Through sport and fundraising challenges, Football Aid Australia brings together people from all walks of life to support causes close to their hearts. Unlike many other non-profits, Football Aid Australia has the unique ability to support, raise awareness, and generate funds for a diverse range of worthy causes.
The flagship event, Football Aid Australia, is set to become an annual highlight on the sporting calendar, featuring a celebrity charity football match. The inaugural match in 2025 will support mental health charity Gotcha4life, with a new charity being chosen each year. Football Aid Australia also collaborates with The Big Three, known for their successful walks raising funds for the Mark Hughes Foundation, the McGrath Foundation, and other significant causes.
To achieve these objectives, we implemented a thorough and strategic approach. We began with our in-depth briefing documentation and a business blueprint to understand Football Aid Australia's mission, values, tone of voice, target audience, and plan. This foundational step ensured that all subsequent efforts were aligned with the organisation's goals. We then conducted in-depth demographic research to gain a clear understanding of the audience's interests, preferences, and behaviors. This information was crucial for creating a brand experience that would effectively engage the target market.
Based on our research, we created moodboards to visually communicate the brand's direction and designed up to three brand concepts, each with a distinct look and feel, for the Football Aid Australia team to review. After presenting the initial concepts, we collaborated closely with the team to refine the chosen design. This iterative process ensured that the final brand identity was a true reflection of the organisation's vision and values. We applied the refined brand design to various collateral, including promotional materials demonstrating the overall look and feel of the brand across different platforms and contexts. Additionally, we are continuing to work on further elements of the project, ensuring that Football Aid Australia's brand remains cohesive and impactful as they prepare for their major events.
